Career
As co-founder of HASDI, Bendy Hilaire has served as president of the association since its founding general meeting on August 1, 2026. An administrator and manager originally from Delmas, Haiti, he believes that meaningful international solidarity is built in partnership with local actors—never in their place.
His Role on the Executive Board
In accordance with Article 17 of the bylaws, the president oversees the general management of the association, ensures the implementation of decisions made by the general assembly and the Board, represents the association in dealings with third parties, authorizes expenditures, and chairs meetings.
Like all members of the Executive Board, he serves in a volunteer capacity (Article 20 of the bylaws) for a one-year renewable term.
