The nine areas presented in this section correspond exactly to HASDI's statutory purpose, as defined in article 2 of the statutes adopted on 1 August 2026. They set the boundaries of what the organisation may undertake — no more, no less — and provide the frame of reference for every one of its programmes.
Across all of these areas, HASDI applies a single model: the organisation defines and steers its programmes from France, while local Haitian partner organisations carry out implementation. This choice reflects our conviction that Haitian organisations are best placed to work alongside communities, and that our added value lies in programme design, resource mobilisation, quality assurance and accountability.
HASDI is a newly created organisation: the pages that follow describe an approach — the need each area addresses, our principles of intervention, our ways of working and the international standards we apply — not past achievements. Our future programmes will be presented in the projects section as they are launched.
