Prevention of fraud and corruption
HASDI applies zero tolerance towards fraud, corruption and the misappropriation of resources, in any form. Expenditure commitments follow validation and traceability rules, and this requirement is passed on to our implementing partners through the agreements that bind us. Any suspicion of fraud or corruption can be raised through the channel described on the safeguarding page.
Management of conflicts of interest
Any officer, employee or volunteer in a situation likely to create a conflict of interest is required to declare it. The person concerned then recuses themselves from the deliberations and decisions at stake, and the recusal is recorded.
Unpaid roles
In accordance with the articles of association, Board members serve on an unpaid basis. No officer receives any remuneration for their office.
Humanitarian principles
Our work is carried out according to the principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence. Assistance is provided on the basis of needs alone, without discrimination and without regard to political, religious or ethnic affiliation.
Compliance with the legal framework
HASDI is an association governed by the French law of 1 July 1901. It complies with the French legal framework applicable to associations: keeping accounts, meeting its statutory declaration obligations and submitting its management to the oversight of the general assembly.
